This former coach house is an ‘up-side-down’ conversion taking advantage of the views from the first floor sitting room window.

All of the furnishings and fittings have been carefully chosen.  The large windows let in plenty of light and the huge cast iron radiators and log burner keep the place warm in the colder months. The cosy downstairs sleeps up to four people in two equally comfortable bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms

There’s plenty of space here. Many species of birds have been spotted from the garden which is bordered by hedge banks and fields. You are free to look round the rest of the holding and see the animals, or wander down to the orchard; wherever you are here, you will feel close to nature.

We have introduced a games area with two 6’ x 3’ pool tables above the stable block. Please feel free to use this facility, but we must point out that this area is unsupervised and not heated. Access is through the rear stable door and up the stairs, lighting is switched on from the ground floor.

High spec throughout

Beautiful hand-made oak doors lead into the spacious open-plan living area where a huge picture window gives views across fields towards Dartmoor.

You will find local books, plus a selection of fiction and non-fiction, a chest full of DVD’s, plus a children’s game box - something for everyone!

TV’s are wide screen LCD and all come with Freeview and DVD. The sitting room system is equipped with a home cinema sound system. Free WIFI broadband is provided with wireless access. In the barn you will find a laptop ready configured for Internet access.

This property is very much larger than it initially appears in the pictures, probably due to the use of the extra wide staircase.

A good night’s sleep

An essential part of any holiday. These quality beds have pocket sprung mattresses topped with a layer of memory foam.  Each bed has a 2 Dunlopillo latex foam pillows and 2 conventional fibre pillows. The bed linen is crisp, white Egyptian cotton and the furnishings  are calm and neutral with a mix of antique and traditional furniture.

There is a flat screen TV/DVD in each bedroom.

Three Hares barn is situated just 5 minutes drive from the A30 at Whiddon Down, which is between Exeter and Okehampton, so the rest of Devon and Cornwall is easily accessible by car.
