Waye Farm is situated on the eastern fringes of Dartmoor within the National Park. This traditional Dartmoor Farmstead within 9 acres of land is home to rare breed sheep, free range chickens, goats and ponies. It is a peaceful setting with good views of the surrounding countryside. Just 5 minutes drive from the A30 it is also convenient for exploring other parts of Dartmoor and the rest of Devon .
We have now refurbished the upper half of the farmhouse for B&B. All the character and original features have been kept to provide comfortable independent accommodation for guests. See availability
The cost is £75 for 2 people, one night B&B
Nearby is the old moorland town of Chagford with independent food shops, galleries, boutiques and the famous hardware shops of Bowdens and Webbers.
The surrounding countryside is spectacular from the high moor to leafy lanes and river walks. The work of many artists is on display at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen and Dartington Cider Press.
Gardeners are drawn to Castle Drogo, just over the hill, in the beautiful Teign Valley, and there are plenty of smaller interesting gardens open to the public under the ngs.
North and South Devon coasts and estuaries are an hours drive and make an easy day trip.
