eemerge has been designed to sit logically along side the corporate mail server, physically the two servers may be in different locations or even in the same box. A typical configuration is shown on the left.

eemerge does NOT interfere with the existing network infrastructure. All communication in and out is through non invasive POP3 and standard file copy methods.

The eemerge server receives mail from the mail server that matches certain criteria, see applications. As mail is received it is inspected to determine if any words or phrases match user defined rules. Based on these content rules, emails will be re-addressed and forwarded internally, externally or directly copied to a Network File Store.

eemerge deals with tasks that are currently manpower intensive and enables tasks to be undertaken that have, up to now, been too massive to address.
